TEAM MIND BATTLE EVENTS

Several teams can participate in the game. Each team will have to choose a captain. This person appoints a player to answer questions and determines when the team is ready. It is also advisable to choose the name of the team before the game. Maximum number of people on the team is 10.

1.Questions

Only 40 seconds are given for the answer. As soon as the countdown begins, any team can press a button after the beep. If the team presses the button before the signal, a false start is announced and the team loses the right to answer; the other team will have 40 seconds to respond. After one of the teams has pressed the button, the time is stopped and the team should give the answer. If the team that pressed the button first did not answer correctly, the other team may continue the discussion within the remaining time.  After pressing the button, the discussion will end. The captain of the team that pressed the button has only 2 seconds to answer or appoint a player to respond. In the case of a time delay, the team can lose the right to answer and so does the other team. The team may continue the discussion within the remaining time. In the case of a timeout, the team loses the right to answer. Each question costs one point. If neither team answers the question correctly, the next question is 2 points.

2. “Round game”: Before the start of the competition, one representative from each team goes to the red and green game tables. Representatives of the table who did not answer the question left, the winning table is divided into two tables. Questions are asked until a winner is identified.

3. Qualifying games

The team that won the “Round game” receives the first starting number. This team selects an opponent who gets a second starting number. The remaining teams receive numbers as a result of the draw. Each team plays two qualifying games, 5 questions each. The team with the most correct answers wins. If after 5 questions there is a tie, additional questions are asked. The best 4 teams go to the semifinals. If we cannot identify the best team by tiebreakers, each team will play one or more questions until the winner is identified.

4. Semifinal

The semifinals consist of 8 questions each. The team that answers more questions wins and goes to the finals. In the event of a tie, additional questions are asked until the correct answer is given. If the team wins 5 points, the game stops and this team is declared the winner.  In cases of disqualification, the 5th ranking team and another team that will win the new “Round game” will play in the semifinals. All teams, except the team that became the first finalist and the 5th ranking team, can participate in the Round game”. The winner of the "Round game” will meet in the semi-finals with the 5th ranking team.

5. Finals

There are two final games, each with up to 5 points. The team with 5 points wins the round. To win the finals, you need to win both rounds. In the event of a tie, an additional question or questions are asked until one of the teams gives the correct answer.

6. Answers of teams that do not play at the red and green tables.

Teams play at red and green competing tables throughout the duration of the game. When they play at their tables they can pass their answers to the question until the facilitator announces the correct answer. The team that picks up the most correct answers for the whole game will win the prize of the Team with the most correct answers

7. Additional rules.

In addition to the host and the chief referee of the project, a defender of interests is present to determine controversial issues. No one except the captain has the right to ask the referee a question during the game. This can be done by the captain in a controversial situation, but no more than two times in the entire game. The team has the right to repeat any question, but this should not occur more than 3 times during the entire game.

In a situation where the leader is not sure of the correct answer, the game continues and the final decision is made after the second team answers.

 TEAM WHAT-WHERE-WHEN EVENTS

Several teams can participate in the game. Each team will have to choose a captain and team name before the game. A team can have up to 8 people. Any team can add to 2 more people, but it loses the club’s help in answering any one question throughout the game.

Rules are binding on everyone.

One of the teams participating in the project prepares questions for the game and leads the entire game. Another team will prepare all questions and host the next event. The team leading the game consists of two speakers who provide technical support. There are also assistants who collect answers on every question from all players. They give an additional hint when the playing teams request help from the club.

One minute is given to discuss each question. Teams play at the same time simultaneously and once the minute is over they must pass answers to assistants within 10 seconds. If the team does not return their answers within 10 seconds, the team won’t get any points.

Each team has one additional minute which can be used only one time per game. Also, each team could ask club help on any question but only once during the whole game.

Questions and answers are displayed on a screen. Teams also get supporting pictures if needed for some questions. The game consists of 3 rounds. Every round consists of 10 questions. The third round consists of the most difficult questions. The second round consists of questions sent by the playing teams. The team that sent the question doesn’t answer their question. However, if at least one of the teams answered that question correctly, then the team who sent the question gets one point.

If at the end of the game two or more teams have the most points, then all teams play one or more additional questions until only one team gets the highest number of points and wins the game.

We will try to honestly and impartially conduct the game. We wish you all victory and we hope everyone will enjoy the game. We wish good luck and success in the game.
